Air Compressor Check Valves

Does your air compressor fill up the tank, but when it tries to restart it stalls and then 'kicks the breaker'?  Does your on/off switch leak through the unloader tube on the side after it cuts off until and then continues to cycle on and off? The check valve is one of the most common parts that fails on a compressor!
